Hello, I have been getting the dreaded hypertransport sync flood error and was hoping that replacing my MSI 790X-G45 AM3 motherboard will help alleviate the issue.
What would be your recommendations for a new motherboard that supports crossfire with an AM3 socket? I most likely won't perform any overclocking.
Here is my current setup.
AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE
GIGABYTE GV-R583UD-1GD Radeon HD5830
CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W
8GB Total: Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Cooler Master CPU Cooler RR-910-HTX3-G1
Thanks in advance. Looking at the $100-$200 dollar price range unless someone has any ideas on how to fix the "HTSFE" error.
