Can't push 4th pin down on CPU cooler

So I have only 3 pins successfully down and the fourth is near impossible to push down. I installed the pins by turning the knobs clockwise and pushing down. The fourth one, I push very hard, and it won't go down!
Do I have to push more hard? I am pushing very hard already!
The CPU temp is at 47 C idle and the heatsink is a Xigmatek HDT 1283 so I know that this 4th pin must be the cause.

No not the connector but anyway it has a 4 pin PWN connector...
I was talking about the 4th push pin on the CPU cooler not the connector.

do you connect to cpu fan 1 page 41 or user manual see the details in fan should connect correctly see if there is not a bend pins on the board connector or something in the fan cable connector the gound cable on conector should be the first one down got a black color ftp://174.142.97.10/manual/Z68%20Extreme4%20Gen3.pdf

It`s not the cpu_fan header pin he`s on about it`s the attachment pins to connect the cpu to the motherboard. I`ve got the same problem with my Xigmatek HDT-D1284 CPU 120mm PWM Fan. It`s a sod to connect and the PSU fan is blowing straight down onto it. The best you can do is remove the board and attach the fan as best you can then replace the board back in the tower. My pin came loose again and I had to take the PSU out to fit it then take the tower to bits to refit the PSU because the Xigmatek HDT-D1284 CPU 120mm PWM Fan is bloody huge!
