I need a modular PSU with at least 500w+

I have narrowed it down to these two but i can't decide which one is better...? Any tips or recommendations would be awesome.

SeaSonic X650 Gold 650W ATX12V V2.3/EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - $160 (free shipping)

CORSAIR CMPSU-750HX 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - $170 ($10 shipping)

Besides the obvious +100w difference... which one looks more reliable and efficient?

They are both very high quality units that I would trust. Both are manufactured by seasonic with the x650 being their newest and most efficient design as it is 80 plus gold certified. I would say get the seasonic if you're going to use a single graphics card the corsair if you plan on using dual cards. Either way you'll be very happy with your choice.

The Corsair HX 750 is from CWT. Anyway, I agree with you.

Just FYI, that's a bad price on the 750HX. It used to be about $20 less. You could get the 850HX from Amazon for the same price without a rebate(the 750HX there is sold out).
