Hello, I have this motherboard that says it will support 1.5 volt ram but the ram I wanted are rated as 1.65v. The motherboard supports DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600 (OC) and the ram I want CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) CMX4GX3M2A1600C9. Will different volt cause an incompatible issue? Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forums
Its strange that MSI site says only 1.5v RAMs will work, because i don't see any reasons why a 1.65v RAM won't work, so to be sure, ask MSI about it.

I'm pretty sure my Gigabyte board said it supported 1.5V RAM. Yet I run 1.65V RAM in it fine...
