THE SPECS SO FAR: Asus GeForce GT 610 Graphics Card. 500GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive. 2 sticks of 1GB DDR2 ram. Cd/DVD RW drive. ECS G31-T M7 v7.0 motherboard. and the processor is a Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200 running at 2.20GHZ. 1MB cache. all with a Cooler Master hyper 210 heatsink/cooler combination.

so whats a good overclock for that processor and how is it done.

Uhm, I don't know for certain on the pentiums, but I'm pretty sure that the lower end (i3s and lesser) intel processors can only be overclocked using the BLCK, which you REALLY don't want to do - push it just slightly too far and you fry your usb and sata ports.

That being said, even an overclock on your CPU isn't going to help much... I'd save the parts you can (Probably the hyper 210, if it'll fit a lga1155 socket, and the case... Possibly the power supply.) and upgrade the rest.

The performance you could get from an overclock would be a minor fraction what you could get from ddr3 ram or an ssd.
