Hi,
I have a Biostar TA785GE 128M with a Phenom ii x2 555 BE which I'm trying to overclock. Problem is I can't change the HT/CPU reference clock at all as it seems to be locked in the bios at 200. I have the latest bios for the board :88GCO701.BST released on June 1st 2010

Can anyone help me to change the clock?

If your board is not an OEM one and supports OCing then continue.

There often is a setting which enables or disabled OCing, this is in the BIOS and should be near the frequency control. You could have a scout in your manual if you can't find it.

Hope that helps.

I have already enabled OCing by switching to manual overclock option. Everything else can be changed except the cpu frequency :(

Are you sure your doing it correctly? Read a guide on Phenom II OCing.

I know how to overclock a phenom BE already. That's why I bought it.

My multiplier right now is set to 19 which is above what it was when I got the chip so I know the manual overclock option is working.

However I also know I should have the option to change the base cpu frequency from 200 mhz.
