use the money saved for a better video card

To save much more money, check out Microcenter. At Microcenter the 3570k is $189, while its $229 at newegg. On top of that, microcenter has a deal that if you buy the 3570k, you get $50 off any Z77 Mobo. Unless you're doing video editing, 8GB should be more than enough for gaming. MC sells 8GB of Corsair xms3 1600 MHz RAM for $30. With all that money saved, I would suggest getting a better video card and a 212 Evo. And if time isn't of the essence, wait until black friday, I can guarantee you will save a ton of money.
