APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Today

BUDGET RANGE: $1,000 (not including shipping)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Primary: Rendering (Poser) & Gaming (e.g., Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins). Secondary: Digital image editing (PhotoShop), light audio mixing (Acid), light video editing, authoring, and miscellaneous tasks.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor; provisionally. Keyboard, mouse, & speakers are covered.

PREFERRED WEB SITE FOR PARTS: Newegg.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.S.A.

OS PREFERENCE: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - OEM

PARTS PREFERENCES: CPU: Intel (i5-750, i7-860, i7-920?) // GPU: Radeon // Memory: 6-8 gig Tri-channel // MB: Dependant on CPU // PSU: 650W? // Case: Not looking for bling. Ideal case is a Cooler Master Cosmos 1000. Love the look, but $179 seems way overboard for my $1,000 limit.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe. Might be willing to experiment, but not immediately.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Not likely. Might be nice to have the capability for a later date, but not mandatory.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900 (I realize this is low. Willing to upgrade monitor, but might not happen right away.)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I tend to do complete system rebuilds approximately every 2 years, but may replace video cards, drives, etc., and/or upgrade CPU or memory at any point as needed.

I know you guys get a boatload of these requests and I'm somewhat ashamed that I've let my tech knowledge get so behind the times, but any assistance offered is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
