MSI 890fxa gd70 , FF code error

lian li pc-k58 case
MSI 890fxa gd70 motherboard
AMD Phenom II BE 3.4GHz processor
XFX Radeon hd5850 graphics card
Corsair TX 850w power supply
2x 4Gb ocz reaper
New gear all just out of the box hooked it all up and and the motherboard LEDs are all blue except the one under the mobo battery it is flashing red and the code says FF the mobo handbook says under status beside FF, power on and initialize cpu. i am new to computer building and dont understand whats goin on

The light under the battery is the Hard drive indicator it will light when hard drive is operating. On my Giga board the FF means it has gone thru all bios checks.
Since the codes listed in the book do not list FF we will assume.
A test for you is to watch the leds during boot, they should cycle the list on page 2-28. If they do and settle at FF then all is good.

just figured it out i must have knocked the shunt off the jbat1 prongs cause i foung it on the floor hooked it up and everything is good now

where is the jbat shunt? im having the same issues
