Is this HDD good enough? I was wondering, if I upgrade to a western digital caviar black 750gb 64mb cache, would the speed of the loading times of battlefield 3 increase? More about : hdd good GenericUser February 7, 2012 12:54:44 AM It would most likely help, although the degree to which it would help wouldn't be insane but the WD black series drives are generally better than the blue series drives from what I've found. It wouldn't hurt that's for sure. geekapproved February 7, 2012 1:09:22 AM I don't think you'll notice any difference. The Blue is a good drive. If you want fast load times buy a SSD.
