Depends on the game. The problem is that with the 5770 you can benefit from more graphic quality by using the supported Dx11 in games that use Dx11. You will still be able to play those games with the GTX260 at DX10 details.
  2. The 5770 HD has many advantages over 260 and 4870
    DirectX11
    Shader Model 5.0
New Card (will be good for couple of years or so)

So my suggestion is to go with 5770 HD
In Future Add another and you will get performance of $400 5870 for just $320

Same as they said, get 5770, less heat, less power consumption and dx11. :)
  4. +3 All that and the 5770 is cheaper too!

If I remember right the HIS one is $162 free shipping on newegg.
  5. You can get a 512mb Powercolor 5770 for $130 new (until 1/30) and free shipping.

But it is 512 mb...what res do you use?

The HIS one (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161317) has a $10 promo code until 2/3 making it $152 w/free shipping.
