The Gtx 260 is definately powerful, But what I want to ask is that Direct X 11 is not supported by it does that mean when Dx 11 finally does arrive or games start using it if I download iton my Windows 7 Pc will I not be ale to play it with 260 as efficiently as HD 5770

Solution

Depends on the game. The problem is that with the 5770 you can benefit from more graphic quality by using the supported Dx11 in games that use Dx11. You will still be able to play those games with the GTX260 at DX10 details.

The 5770 HD has many advantages over 260 and 4870
DirectX11
Shader Model 5.0
New Card (will be good for couple of years or so)

So my suggestion is to go with 5770 HD
In Future Add another and you will get performance of $400 5870 for just $320
