So my budget is around 1.4-1.6, and this is what I have came up with so far for a gaming rig

I would drive up to microcenter to get an i7 for 200 bucks.

Now here are my questions-

Lets say I want to overclock to 3.5ish. What do I need to buy in terms of additional cooling?

What should I buy to connect wireless to my router? Is that built in or could someone link me to one?

Any other suggestions? Changes? How are the parts I've picked out?

For $35 more I'd get the Antec 1200 Case / CP-850 PSU. Better case, better PSU with the ability to do a 2nd 5870 in Xfire later on and even a dedicated PhysX GFX card should you wanna go that way.

Hard Drives - Check out the performance charts and pick whatever 500 GB per platter drive performs best under your usage patterns. The WD Black 2 TB is a good choice but at smaller capacities, you are limited to the Seagate 7200.12 or the Spinpoint F3. The 7200.12 excels in gaming, multimedia and pictures whereas the F3 wins at music and movie maker. See the comparisons here (copy past link in manually, link won't work in forum):

Monitor - $10 cheaper and 2 ms instead of 5 ms

Alright-

What would be the difference if I switched out the mobo in this screenshot for the one in the first screenshot? With the one here stuff gets a little too expensive.

Will it improve gaming?

Also, can someone answer the wireless question?
