ASRock P4VM890 board worth ATI 4650????

Can anyone tell me if it's even worth it to buy an ATI 4650 PCIE 2.0 card or 2.1 card and put it in an older PCIE 1.0 board? If not, can you recommend another card? It's my "wife's computer" and she mostly only plays civilization... but the onboard video doesn't play very well.

Yes a single card will not max out a PCI-e x16 slot

what processor are you running? might also be cpu bound (P4)

Thanks for the replies everyone. Don't want to upgrade the cpu as I also have an i7 960/ ATI 5850 sitting across the desk.
