What ram to get

I am making a Intel I5 build that I intend to overclock. I have about £180 to spend on Ram but I am not sure what Ram to get. I was thinking of some Corsair XMS3 memory - 8 GB ( 4 x 2 GB ) - DIMM 240-pin - DDR3 CMX8GX3M4A1600C9.
My Mobo is a Gigabyte S1156 Intel P55 DDR3 mATX A L
What do you think?
Also what P.S.U to get for it?

  1. Personally, I like a lot of headroom when overclocking.

  2. That's extreme overkill on the speed, even if overclocking. Save $25 and get these sticks with tighter timings: G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 for $115.
  3. ^ He's right. Tighter timings will almost always yield better performance. I must have scrolled right by them. Better price as well. Easy choice.
