Just an opinion question. Can anyone would please advice best video card to use with a Pentium 4 650 3.4G ,4 gig 5300 ram in a Dell 5150 I tweaked a little. I also upped the PSU to 550 watts. I need advice on a card that the PC will be able to utilize efficiently. No use putting in a top end card and spending 150 bills if the system won't be able to utilize the cards engine. What do you think the best card, preferably an ATI, that can make use of the processor and ram.

Not quite sure between a 5670 or 5750 should be more than enough, what resolution monitor do you use?

1280 x 800. Do you really think it can utilize the new 5000 series? I was thinking more on the line of a 4670,.

Also i currently have an old 3650 512M in it.Is it worth the 70 dollars to update it or do you think I should leave the 3650. The PC is at my fathers basically for his grandkids use. It actually ran Call of Duty Modern warfare at med settings

I guess your right a 4670 or 5670 at the most.

edit : well if it can run COD MW on med at that resolution then maybe its best to save that $70 for a good dual/quad core computer for your next upgrade. You might be able to squeze out high textures with an upgrade but its up to you if $70 is worth it.

4670 ~ 3850. You'd be spending your money on basically what you already have. Keep saving for a new computer.
