Hey, basically it this question yet again lol

I’m buying sum parts to do a new build but I can’t decide between the antec 902 or the 1200?

please don’t try and sell me anything else I know I want one or the other so no I don’t want the haf lol I have only got a ati 3850 so it’s not like I need loads of room but big the better right? And plus the 1200 doesn’t have the static problem on the front jacks!

Money isn’t much of a problem but I don’t want to waste it

So what do u guys think?

Why those two? With such a small card, you could save a lot of money by getting the Antec 300 Illusion. It looks exactly the same...

As far as differences, it's just the size. The 1200 is a full tower, the 902 is a mid.

The 902 is a good case with lots of room to begin with, and the 1200 is basically a bigger version of the 902 with a few differences. It's a better case, but if you're not using anything really high end then there's not really a reason to get the 1200. But if you plan on using headphones a lot then go with the 1200 because like you said, the static problems.

yeah well thats the proplem i use headphones almost 100% of the time so.... im just not sure if i should just get sum extensions cables from the back of the 902 or go for the 1200

If you are pretty sure that one day you will be running two video cards, get the 1200. The 900/902 will be really cramped with two video cards in it.

I have seen enough reports of noisy jacks to know that there is a problem. Fortunately for me, my three 900's are silent. So I cannot help you there.

I c that money is not a problem, 1200 will satisfy your expectations. I own the orginal 900 and 1200 and i love them both. I would have to put it like this if you have 5850 or higher video card and are planing on putting a liquid cooling setup go 1200 if not 902 will do just fine with your 3850. I would buy 902 and use the extra cash to buy a ssd.

Go with the 1200, I have the 900 and I regret it due to size constraints. Because I plan on getting another high end video card latter down the road when I rebuild and it's doubtful I be able to reuse this case again as I will have difficulty fitting that and all the hard drives I plan on putting in this in this case.

So if you have the extra money just buy the 1200 so you don't have to worry about that in case you ever plan on putting a large video card in your case.
