The 5770 can't do 30 fps at the desired resolution of 1920 x 1200 / 1080.

I'd take the Earthwatts over the TP series.

Antec Earthwatts 500 (9.5 Performance Rating) - $59 at newegg

Antec True Power 550W (8.0 Performance Rating) $99 at newegg

Antec True Power 650W (7.5 Performance Rating) $109 at newegg

Antec Earthwatts 650W (9.0 Performance Rating) $79 at newegg

Also consider Corsair TX series

Ask me and you should defintly go for a nvidia card like 275 or better, and then use your 9800 in SLI to calculate the psychx, this will free resources on the 275 card, and the 9800 is more than capable doing the psychx

But i bet even with the 260, like the gigabyte OC, wish got a higher clock frequency than the normal 260s, then Overclock it a little and it will perform very close to 275, then put in the 9800, And you will have a rig wish is much faster than the ATI alternative, you who is building this pc should see if you find some benchmark with this setup

The HD 5770 will do 30+ FPS @ 1920X1200 with 4xAA http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3658 ( not Crysis tho 21.8 FPS ) and like the OP said budget, I myself would go for a HD 5850 or 5870 @ that rez as i didnt buy the HD 5850 but my budget allowed what i wanted

Are all of the gtx cards compatible with older cards like the 9800gt?

I am pretty sure it is, what i have seen is a 260gtx with a 9800gt card in sli, and that works perfectly. However i havent done this myself so I am no expert on it. Start a new thread about it.

But you wont get dx11 support with the nividia cards. It might not be much of an issue, depends on how good dx 11 really is. and how fast it is. It might turn out to be very demanding on the gpu, and is better to use dx 10 with the 5000 series cards until the next gen graphic cards.
