More about intel
  1. Intel cuz you have the money.

For PSU, you need at least a 600W one or better. Most def. better if you plan to upgrade to HD 5970 CF.

    Quote:

500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and four 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)

    This is a good one:

    For HDD:

If it were me, I'd drop the LGA 1366 in favor of LGA 1156 (i5 750 + P7P55D-E PRO). Throw in a 30GB Vertex SDD as OS drive, F3 500GB as backup/storage, a cheaper case, same GPUs & PSU. Why? The primiary goal is gaming, not video editing.
