More about help choose motherboard
  1. i would get an am3 board, or the asus if its only those two. also, get this psu all the way:

nice case by the way :)
  2. I'd go with ASUS every time, I'm currently using the M4A785TD-M EVO, rock solid board, way better than the Gigabyte I had before. The onboard GPU is better than most as it comes with 128Mb of Vram, DirectX 10.1/shader 4.0 support. (hey, it'll do until I can afford a decent card).
the rest of the build is: Phenom II dual core @ 3.0 GHz, 4Gb G-Skill @ 1600, 750 Gb WD HDD, DVD burner, card reader, 520 W PSU and a nice piano black case.
Running Win 7 64Bit. General use plus web dev and Java/VB/C# dev.

  3. Antec Board

PSU, Antec Earthwatts /Corsair VX or TX series.....Corsair HX / Antec SG series bit expensive, useful for extreme Overclocks and multiple GFX cards but way more PSU than you need for that build.
  4. what about this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130233 is it any better then the 2 i listed i just want a bang for the buck motherboard/CPU you know what i'm saying
  5. that mobo is great since it is 785g, supporting the 4200 hd integrated, and is am3, so it supports am3 and am3+ cpus, and ddr3 memory. it is also a good board by a good company
