Hello Sir/Madam:
A week ago I bought HO laptop Pavilion dv6. Installed Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010.(Designed for purchase with a new PC preloaded with Microsoft Office 2010.
Initially failed to detect my HP LaserJet Printer 6L. I installed driver for 6L on the laptop. still failed detect. The dealer tried to detect by connecting the printer directly to the laptop with a cable by using usb adapter. Still failed.
My printer is attached to the desktop that has Microsoft XP. It worked with an hp laptop Pavilion 17 inches that had Microsoft vista. That laptop's motherboard burnt out as a result I had to buy a new one with 15 inches monitor.
Is there any way I can reconnect the new laptop with my 6L printer. I have not installed Microsoft XP on my new
laptop.
