I have a question about my current system setup. Recently I've installed Windows 7 on my computer.
But when I try to rate this computer, I have kinda low rating for my memory and graphics.
Thats why I want to know if my hardware is running optimally. :(

Hardware
CPU: Core 2 Extreme QX6800
MB: P5B Deluxe
RAM: TWIN2X1024-8500C5D
VGA: NVidia Geforce 7900 GTX
HD: WD Raptor 74GB

Component Details Subscore Base score
Processor Intel(R): Core(TM)2 Extreme CPU Q6800 @ 2.93GHz [score 7,2]
Memory (RAM): 2,00 GB - [score 5,5]
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX - [score 6,0]
Gaming graphics: 1279 MB Total available graphics memory - [score 6,0]
Primary hard disk: 43GB Free (69GB Total) - [score 5,8]

Thanks!

Delphine

The scores dont mean too much and your scores look good.

Your memory scores are "depressed" by having 2.0GB of DDR2 likely running at 800 vs 4GB or 6GB of DDR3 running at 1333.

Other than the positive effects of having more memory, you wouldn't notice any performance change were you able to "upgrade".

OTOH, your graphics card is probably over-rated vs. what's available today.

As he said, the scores don't really mean much.

Thanks for the reply
Now I don't need to rely that much on those scores :)
