I've some issue when I'm trying to connect notebook (IBM T40) running windows XP SP3, to a file server, the other thing I've seen that it rotates the IP from xxx.xxx.xxx.168 to 177, keeping the mayor time in the last number, it pings the server, it replies, but trying to access it says that the path is not found. Help me it's very important to solve it, I've tried reinstalling driver, installing another ethernet card.

HELP! :ouch:

the ip address shouldn't be just changing by itself... can you set the servers ip address to a static address?
