Perform a cpr which resets the chipset

How are you supposed to proceed-----is cpr another mystery acronym(Asus P7P55D-E PRO) for something we all know-or not. Disconcerting when you are in the middle of a bios flash and never seen 'cpr' before either in the bios or in the Manual. Do you set bios defaults, then save and exit. Does cpr mean set bios defaults. Never seen this cpr before. The guy that said havent you heard of a manual is of no use to anyone.

ASUS C.P.R.(CPU Parameter Recall) ~ typically caused from a bad OC. You'll need to either unplug or turn-off the PSU power to recover.

Anytime you, assuming the cause, update your BIOS you should first either F2 Load Defaults <or> Clear CMOS first.
