Two systems to shoose from

I'd like to ask for your opinion about theese two systems.
The job to be done is static photo-editing and video editing.

Which of theese whould you choose?

1 - Apple's Mac Pro configured like this:

- Two 2.26GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
- 16GB (8x2GB) of RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX260

2 - Dell's Precision 7500

- Dual Quad Core Intel® Xeon® Processors E5520 2.26GHz,8M L3,5.8GT/s,turbo
- 12GB, DDR3 RDIMM Memory, 1066MHz, ECC (6 DIMMS)
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX260

Their prices are similar (slightly higher on the MAC), and the rest of the configuration is pretty similar also

So, which would you choose to do that kind of job (professionaly)?

Thanks a lot

More about systems shoose from
  1. Which computer does your software work on?

If both, any cost difference - will you need to buy new software for compatibility with one of the systems?

Are there any issues of compatibility or benefits of using the same system as others you work with or for?

Might there be any other uses or applications, even if secondary, that might affect the choice (for instance the availability and often lower cost for so much software for the MS OS?
  2. The software to use runs both on MAC and PC, Photoshop and Premiere. There are absolutely no issues with software compatibility and no other users are involved.
I can freely choose une of the two because I know both systems.
  3. Both systems will ONLY run those two programs and nothing else
