I am no expert, so I am doing my best to build and troubleshoot.
I was given a case and motherboard (including ram and cpu). I bought a new psu (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817339012) and connected a HD. Upon powering on everything appears to turn on yet I hear no beeps and receive no video signal from the on-board video connection or from installing an extra pci video card. A few threads I have read suggested disconnecting all connections and reconnecting the essential connections, and another suggestion was to re-seat the cpu as it may have been bumped. Neither of these proved successful. I am now at the end of my knowledge and ideas and am looking for help.
Hopefully someone can help point me in a good direction.
