I've been considering one of the new Toshiba Satellites, but I've seen one
with an odd, yellowish orange cloud at one edge of the LCD. I understand
that it shifts around slowly. It's definitely something in the LCD or
controller. Too bad...the screen looks pretty bright, and I was hoping
that Toshiba would work out.
Has anyone seen this on Toshiba or any other type of LCD?

Sounds sort of like a heating effect but in any case, the LCD is faulty and
I'd avoid this Tosh! FYI, replacement LCDs seem to be about £400 new or
£100 on eBay which is a lot to have to add to a second hand PC.

Thanks, Paul. I wasn't going to buy that particular laptop, but are you
saying I should avoid that model entirely?
