AMD Athlon II 3.0 Ghz

I have benn using this cpu for awhile with its stock heatsink and fan. A friend of mine gave me a Thermaltake TR2 R1 Tt fan and heatsink. I do not overclock this cpu and am wondering if it would be better then the stock one I am using? I have heard mixed things about this heatsink. What do you think?

It seems good but the most effective thing about keeping a cpu cool is about how your applying thermal paste. It has to be just right.

Athlon ii isn't bad, its pretty good with multitasking. Keep it cool and it might just be good as any other.
