First NAS, Dlink or Synology Tags: NAS / RAID D-Link Synology Storage Product Last response: February 9, 2012 9:28 PM in Storage Share kymira February 9, 2012 4:51:09 PM Hi there this will be my first NAS Device and it will be primarily be for sharing media (720p videos & music) over a very small home network. I was looking at the Dlink ShareCenter 320 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Its very resonable in price & seems to advertise what I will need it for. But a friend recommend me to a Synology DS211J http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Im wondering if the extra 100 is worth it? Besides the faster processor and ram on the Synology what can I benefit from it and is it worth it for my needs? More about : nas dlink synology RealBeast a c 317 G Storage February 9, 2012 9:28:49 PM Synology makes excellent products, but it probably has more features than you need for home network media sharing. The DLink will probably work well for you at a lower price. m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask !
