Best CPU Cooler (closed circut water or air) for FX-8320?

Yes I will! But what are your thoughts on the Turniq 120 Extreme? I saw on a cooler benchmark chart that it was in 2nd or 3rd place.

Also, do you think the Phanteks could fit in a Corsair 500R WITH the 200mm side fan still on? Or would I have to take it off?

The Tuniq is decent but not on the same level as the Noctua or Phanteks. Those 2 trade blows for first depending on who does the tests.

Notice here the Noctua compared is a older design since the Tuniq is an older cooler.

This has both the new and old Noctua coolers in the chart. Even my older Scythe Mugen 2 beats the Tuniq quite easily here.

As I said above the H100 beats both of these coolers by a decent amount.

Well with the Phanteks, whcih I think I am going to stick with, I am just barely under my budget of $1000 for my new build. Do you know the clearance WITH 200mm side fan on the Corsair 500R? I have looked everywhere but can't seem to find it.

As to the Phanteks fitting in a Corsair 500, I honestly don't know. Just google it and see if anyone had problems.

You do have low profile RAM too right? You will need it with any large air cooler.

Thanks! I did see that, but I am getting the white version 500R so might as well stick with the same color. If only the top heatsink caps were white too, not silver
