Bios wont read hard drive

had a 500 gb western digital internal hard drive and all of a sudden it fails stops working, replaced it with a 60 gb western digital and now the same thing is happening insert boot disk

  1. If bios can't detect drive but another computer can = bad mobo
    Bios can see drive but computer won't boot = bad disk/software
