What Power Supply for this system?

I've been having troubles choosing a power supply for my system here are the specs

CPU: Intel Core i7 930
Motherboard: EVGA X58 SLI LE
HDD: Western Digital Velociraptor 450GB
RAM: OCZ 6GB i7 Edition 1600
GPU: XFX ATI Radeon HD5850 Black Edition
PSU: ???
Case: Antec Nine Hunderd Two 902 Mid-Tower Case
Cooler: Noctua U12P-SE2

Another Velociraptor in RAID 0
Another HD5850
another Set of RAM
will upgrade cooler

I'm was thinking about getting a Antec True-Power Quattro 850 because its Modular but i can't seem to find any other power supplies cheaper than it. Any suggestions?

More about what power supply system
  1. Would a 750W be enough for the future? i calculated on the Extreme Power Supply Calculator and it came up with 538W
  2. Its more than enough but I tend to get more than I need in a power supply:

Id be willing to bet that corsairs 650 watter would be plenty as well. Its more like a 750 watt power supply compared to most other brands...
  3. A pair of 5850's needs about 18 - 20 amps. The CPU will need about 10 - 12 amps.

A good 650 watt PSU would do, but it may not have all the PCIe power connectors you need.

    A Corsair 750TX (60 amp 12 volt rail)
    would be plenty.

I'm with englandr. I also tend to overspec PSU's. I try to operate them at 50% - 70% of rated capacity.
  4. i was looking for a modular. e HX750 was more expensive than a True-Power Quattro 850. What about that 1?
  5. Yeah the Quattro is good not top notch but good maybe you might ant to look at the XFX PSUs.

edit: I was wrong the Quattro is top of the line in quality:
