Hello,
is ram compatible with motherboard or Processor?

I have GA-G41M-ES2L Gigabyte Motherboard & Intel Pentium D 2.8 GHz processor ? Please suggest compatible RAM?

You are gonna have to put together a little more of a question then that like what kind of RAM and what processor you talking about.

Some motherboards can't handle certain RAMs because of voltage and frequency restrictions and also DDR3 will not work on a DDR2 board. You will have to elaborate your question if you want more.

intel 775 boards control memory via the chipset, so the cpu really has no say in what type of ram is used, any ddr2 ram up to 1066 shud work fine
