hi everyone !

my question is one graphic card ati hd 4870x2 with 2 gb memory = one ati hd 5870 with 1 gb memory ?
result of an rma, the factory decide to change the first one with the second...should i accept this trade ?

They perform pretty much equal, the 4870x2 only had 1GB effective ram anyway so no loss there. If you don't have to pay for it, it sounds an alright trade.

I would be very happy with that trade, you get pretty much the same performance plus the addition of DX11 support and and slew of other features. Good trade.

yeah, u will be happy with 5870, less heat. less power consumption, dx11.
