Your build looks go... except
1) You don't have a HDD listed. I would go with the Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB, as your drive.
2) I would go this G.SKILL Ripjaws Cas7 for $10 more.

taking your advice on the memory. I didn't list hd because it put me over budget ill have to reuse an old one for now. Wife gave me 1000 to play with and im already 36 over. Maybe ill just buy it and beg for forgiveness

I'm just going to put this out there... Hard drives are very seriously the biggest bottleneck in most modern systems. You've got a monstrous build there, but "My Computer" will take 10 seconds to load anyway because your hard drive is being an arse... but then, it is pretty hard to take apart a good 5870 or i5 to make room for an HD or SSD/HD hybrid system.

Get a nice CPU cooler, and OC the crap out of the i5-750. You should be able to beat i7-975 levels of preformace.

The Samsung Spinpoint F3 is a great drive and is one of the best you can get outside of an SSD. A SSD is out of your budge, so the Samsung is your best alternative IMO.

WD 2tb black and the 500gb Samsung Spinpoint F3 are both excellent drives... It all depends on how much money you're willing to allocate to storage.

I thinkt the better choice is the 1tb F3, over the 500gb f3, 500gb can get filled realy quick.

You should try to find a way to squeeze in the 500GB F3 drive. Actually, I just checked and the F3 isn't currently available on Newegg. The Seagate 500GB 7200.12 drive would be a nice second choice. Since you're already over budget, you could go with a cheaper case to partially pay for the HD.

That's your opinion. Maybe the OP will like the looks of it. I just suggested it because it is so much cheaper. He was looking for a way to squeeze in a new HD. The case was the one spot where he was overspending IMO.

yeh, that's almost as ugly as those old Dell gray and brown plastic P4 cases, or the Old P4 emachine cases, which are some of the ugliest cases made in the last 10 years. Now thats ugly:
