Hello,

I'm looking for a good cpu cooler for my 3570k.
Space is no problem, because I have the CM Cosmos 2 case.
Price should be between $50-$100..
Sound doesn't matter that much, because the Cosmos 2 case is quite sound-damping.
I prefer something that's easy to install, but that's not a must.
I'm looking to overclock my 3570k to 4.5 hz.

All advice is appreciated.

With air NH-D14.
With Water H100.

water cooling geeks would say a custom kit.

Currently, the best "bang for buck" CPU cooler is the CoolerMaster Hyper212 EVO at about $35

For air cooling in your budget my preference is the CoolerMaster V8 at about $50

I just think it looks better but you can even afford to go top of line (don't think it's warranted personally) with a Noctua D-14 at $90 or Phanteks PH-TC14PE at $99.

Id go for a custom loop, you can add your GPU to it, or upgrade parts, a custom loop will outperform any cloosed loop sustem

I'm pretty sure that's well out of the budget

Thanks for all the replies :)
I think I'll go for the NH-D14,
because I don't trust liquidcooling.
Everyone says the fluid doesn't conduct, but if it leaks, it will stil be a mess.

My 212 Evo keeps my 3570k at 31 idle and 40-50 full load.

If you are to OC your 3570k past 4.5 Ghz, you want the D14 or that big ass H100. Do remember that the 3570k temp rating is 100+ (not 76).

Yeah you can't go wrong with the NH-D14. Great CPU cooler.
