I just did a new build, 64 gig SSD has my OS and main programs etc.I hooked up a standard 1tb HDD after i installed W7.BUT no where does it recognize it is installed.
I tried
" Go into disk management and see if you can see it there (right click on Computer, click manage, and look for disk management). If it's a new drive it will need to be formatted. Right click on the drive and click format. "
But it only lists my SSD, Does not show up in the bios either.
Both drives are SATA, im using all new hardware.
The whole build went Peeeeeeerfect except for this lol.
I am new to dealing with SSD. Im not looking for a raid or any kind of config just having that 1tb HDD as my media dump.Do i need to set the pins at the back of the HDD to something specific? Kind of lost on this.
Main specs :
PSU 750 w
MOBO AsRock X3 G3
CPU i5 2500
GPU 7970
4x2 Ram
