So, I recently bought an HD 5870 and I'm now looking into X58 boards. However, the board I'm leaning strongly toward is the eVGA 3xSLI I'm wondering, since X58 is SUPPOSED to support both SLI & CF and my 5870 came with its own crossfire connector, could I buy an SLI mobo and still use it for CF if I ever decided to buy another 5870?

More about : crossfire sli mobo

All X58 chipsets support CF, only some support SLI because it costs extra to liscense. The new P55 and X58 boards, unlike the old nVidia chipsets, if they only list SLI support CF support is implied because its free to include.
