Unable to detect plug and play printer

The problem occure even successfully install manually of NEC P3200 printer for window NT supported version. My laptop cannot detect printer and also fail print from either notepad or test printing.

Please recommend solution. Thank you in advance.

click start
click control panel
click printers and faxes
make sure that the printer you want is CHECKMARKED as the default printer.
restart the computer
print.
