So ever since i installed my ssd and changed the interface to AHCI i have been unable to overclock my MB at all. I use a Asus P5Q deluxe, q6600 and a corsair force 120gb ssd. I use to be able overclock to 3.2GHZ but now i cannot overclock it at all. Additionally during boot up it makes a high pitch wine that gets more high pitch then goes away(not sure if it goes away cuz its out of my range of hearing or it stops) but yeah its worrying me. Oh yeah and everytime that my computer wakes from sleep mode it disconnects with my storage drive. It never did this before when i had the bios set to ide, is this normal? I would really appreciate any and all assistance.

thanks!

Did you reinstall Windows after you changed to AHCI?
