Please insert bootable device and press any key

Hello,

My Wildfire SSD worked fine for about three months. In the middle of browsing the Internet the computer cut off and when I rebooted I got a black screen with this message, "No Bootable Device -- Please insert boot disk and press any key."

In the boot menu it does not recognize a HD is connected. I have reconnected my old HD and it worked fine so the connections aren't bad.

Probably SSD failure but it is only 3 months old. Any advice?

  1. See if patriot has a simular program to Intel's (or OCZ's) tool box. If so down load it and see if it can find the SSD, if so wipe it and reload.
    If Not found, contact Patriot for RMA.
