COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus for athlon xp

i heard good review for the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus, however i upgrade my pc and now im building my own using what i have, however i would like to know if the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus is compatible with my amd athlon xp 3200+ or does the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus work with the whole amd k7 familly? if not can you recomend an good/exelent heat hink for me please?

No, the 212 isn't made for that CPU/socket.

I did a quick search and everything I found looked just like the stock cooler with different fans.

I would just remove the fan and clean out the stock heat sink real well (compressed air), then put it back together.
