Files going to wrong harddrive.

Hello,
I have a 120g SSD for win 7 and some games, and a 500g HDD for music and whatever else. Issue I am having is some files refuse to go to my mech HDD. For instance today I downloaded Itunes and specifically assigned it to my F drive (mech HDD) it still installed to my C drive (ssd). This is driving me mad! I'm ready to just go back to one hard drive. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Many programs refuse to be installed on anything other than the boot drive. Microsoft has actually encouraged that behavior for years. . .
