Picture/Video Editing PC Build Help

Hi,

If anyone could help me with this build I'd appreciate it greatly. Below is an outline of the parts/budget I have so far discovered. I have built several systems in the past, and am an IT professional (technically competent), however I'm a bit behind the times (last build was Athlon XP2100+, overclocked to 2400).

My plan is to have the system boot off an SSD drive, install apps, and do my editing there, then move to 1.5TB HDD storage (RAID1) so I don't have to wait for a long backup process.

PURCHASE DT: -ASAP-
BUDGET GOAL: <$2,000 (Currently @ $2,200)
SYSTEM USAGE:
1. Photo Editing (Adobe)
2. Video Editing/DVD Burning
3. Web/Docs/Office work
4. Gaming (far 3rd place)
PREFERRED SITE: Newegg (but open to suggestions)
PARTS NOT REQUIRED:
Monitor: Samsung P2770H (1920x1080)
Keyboard: Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard/Mouse 5000
OVERCLOCKING: Yes, however want system to be stable and reliable (sacrifice a bit of speed to achieve this)

final price is 2139.90$, most is the same, excpet you get an additional 40 gb ssd, better ram, a better case, a better raid 1 set, and a better cooler, but the rest is exactly the same, as wisely picked by you
