Wireless N - Adapter - Receive & Transmit - 300mpbs vs 150mpbs ..

hi


i have been looking at numerous wireless n adapters
some state that they receive 300mbs and transmit 150mbps


some say they have 2 antennas some say they have 4

1 receive 1 transmit

or

2 receive and 2 transmit

here is a link that i am looking at ... and adapter that i am looking at ...

i thought an N adapter could receive a max of 300mpbs and only transmit a max of 150mpbs

is this true?

does the amount of antennas affect this or increase the amount is 300mpbs the cap on receive ... is 150mpbs or 300mbps the cap on tranmit???
