After installing ati radeon 9200 my monitor turns black

hello,, can you help out to fix my problem... after i install the ATI RADEON 9200 my turns black after it restarted....


motherboard asrock p4i45gv
processor intel

sounds like it may be a pwoer issue. Not enough information to go on. Could be a number of other things.

What drivers did you install and what operating system are you running? ATI discontinued driver support for the 9200 series graphic cards back in November 2006.

wolf--- windows xp and i already have the cd installer for the ati radeon 9200, could it be possible that there something wrong in my motherboard coz this is my first time to install it since 2009 last year, coz this motherboard has its own built-in video card and sound card....

With the 9200 installed, connect your monitor to the on-board graphics port. If you see an image, then it probably means you need to disable on-board graphics in your system BIOS.
