Hey guys, really quick and straight forward question:

I am building a new computer and need to swap a few of my internal HDDs from my old computer into the new one.

They are not loaded with an OS, and are only being used for storage -- mostly with photoshop files. Can I simply unplug the sata connections, then reconnect the drives into the new computer and go about my day accessing my storage? Or does the old system make it impossible for the material to be accessed once plugged into a new motherboard?

Thanks guys, just curious

If they're SATA drives I can't see any reason why you'd have a problem. But I'd advise you not to connect them to the new system until you're finished the OS install - Windows 7 likes to put it's 100MB boot/recovery partition on a different drive than the OS drive if it can find one.
