Where can the file csrss exe be found on windows XP Tags: Security McAfee Processors Windows XP Last response: September 25, 2012 7:00 PM in Windows XP Share Sailor_77 September 25, 2012 6:54:27 PM Hello, I am currentlly running XP and have noticed slowing of the processor and what appears to be an overly active csrss.exe file (2-4% CPU) when viewing processes under task manager. I am running McAfee with all updates current. Is it likely that something could have infected the csrss.exe file or another while supposedly being protected by McAfee ? Thanks for your help.
