Critique this mid-level, balanced build (gaming, media, video editing)

I started deciding what to put into this build about 6 weeks ago and got the CPU and mother board combination then at a good price then. Now after some deliberation I have come to a final decision on all of the components. Keep in mind my original budget was $1,100 not including the monitor, but I did not consider I needed everything including keyboard, thermal paste, extra fan etc. Also, I would rather not make a major upgrade for a few years besides maybe adding some RAM down the road. So here it is.

I also got this case from Frys.

Add on about $65 more dollars for thermal, fan, Wifi card etc. and total is $1,141.

Also, here is the monitor that I got. After a discount directly from HP its coming for $248. I got this monitor because of the glossy screen and size.
