Hello all :hello:

I have a problem with my memory within windows that I do not understand.

I have an AcerM1100, with 2 x 2GB RAM chips and 2 x 1GB RAM chips.
Slot 1 and 2 are Kingston 400Mhz (2GB chips)
Slot 3 and 4 are Nanya 400Mhz (1GB chips)

In my BIOS Im seeing 6000+ kb of Memory, but when i check the system properties within windows 7 i see;
Installed Memory (RAM): 6.00 GB (3.25 GB usable).

What does this mean?
I hope the attached pic help.
Thank You.

Thank You.

your issue is that you are using 32bit windows OS and 3.25GB is the most memory it can use
