I7 upgrade for AU $1000

hello i would like to upgrade my gaming pc to an i7 within a AU $1000 budget. i will need ddr3 ram, motherboard and processor. any ideas? i have had a look at the i7-920 and my favorite brands for the mobo are evga and ASUS. ANY ideas close to the budget would be appreciated

hey thanks for the reply i already have an isgc-300 to use with it and do you know anything about the evga boards? like the classified and the tri sli LE model. which one would be better value for money and which is better performance?

i can be flexible with the budget but i would like to spend round that 1k. pcmarket has free shipping to where i am and i can pick things up from MSY so shipping costs arent a problem

How far are you planing to OC ? all 3 of thos mobos are good and will work well but some have more bells gadgets on them ( if you are willing to pay for that and have the money that's your call ) the classified will let you fine tune OCing a bit more but all would hit 3.6 gig OC
